New to Brickset

Hi, I am new to Brickset and I see there is a lot of use of abbreviations and acronyms
e.g. S&H, BL to name a couple.
Some I get instantly like LOTR etc but I must admit I am struggling to understand some of the threads and end up giving up on it.
Is there a thread to help understand the abbreviations and acronyms :)
